I didn’t have any problem with food when I was young. I don’t know why these years, all of a sudden, I’ve developed some drink allergies. I can’t drink coffee, milk, soya, and some types of tea. A small amount of coffee or tea would be alright, but definitely not soya or some tea. Sometimes I accidentally drink those and I end up feeling horrible, like I am about to faint and breathing becomes difficult. I would suddenly turn weak. And it takes hours before I return to normal. When I was younger I didn’t know what food allergy means but now I understand the horror first-hand. Innocent, everyday food and drink that everyone loves can be poison to you. I feel I’m stuck with water. It’s quite inconvenient / awkward in social situations, for example, when people ask “shall I get you a coffee?”. Or when the whole meeting room are drinking coffee, I have no cup in front of me. Even when I am ordering tea, I need to be very careful not to choose the wrong type. It would appear I am picky, but I am actually just trying to stay alive. Anyway, just a random little rant.
